great achievements for our teams!

What a weekend for the City of Bristol Volleyball Club! With four teams hitting the courts and eight matches packed into just a few days, it was non-stop action from start to finish.

The men’s Bristol & District team kicked things off with tough matches against Bath and Spikers. Despite two narrow losses, they bounced back in style against Weston and Hornets — showing great teamwork and energy to grab back-to-back wins!

Our ladies’ National League team also had a busy Sunday, taking on Farnborough and Plymouth. The results didn’t go their way this time, but there were plenty of positives and signs of improvement to build on before their next fixtures.

Meanwhile, the men’s National League squad faced Guildford and Bristol VC away from home. They couldn’t quite get the wins, but coach Ben Turner was full of praise for the team’s effort and attitude throughout the day.

All in all, it was an action-packed weekend full of grit, teamwork, and Bristol spirit — a big well done to everyone who played and supported! 💪💙
